May perform the following tasks including lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling of frozen fruit boxes. Adhere to all GMP, HACCP, safety, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><em>The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified. May perform other duties as assigned.</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)</li>\n <li>Follow all SOP’s (standard operating procedures) for the operation of the equipment used</li>\n <li>Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.</li>\n <li>Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner</li>\n <li>Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime</li>\n <li>Work in all areas of production and packaging, as assigned, which includes operating, being in close proximity to and crossing over or under machinery.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and perform as a member of a team</li>\n <li>Will perform a variety of production tasks: including lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling of frozen fruit boxes.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and/or holidays</li>\n <li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions</li>\n <li>Complete routine documentation associated with the manufacture of product</li>\n <li>Ability to identify visual defects and make correction as needed, and identify and distinguish between colors</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in areas of varying temperatures</li>\n <li>Regular attendance</li>\n <li>Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Must be able to follow the Dole Packaged Foods Code of Conduct</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong><em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as box markings, labels, schedules, safety rules, GMP’s and general instructions.</li>\n <li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment</li>\n <li>Previous operating experience preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a high paced environment</li>\n <li>Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job</li>\n <li>Ability to operate manual and motorized pallet jack and walkie stacker</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School graduate or equivalent preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong><em>The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee should possess to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
