This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, anticipates challenges before they arise, and drives projects forward with urgency, accountability, and pride in their work.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Planning, Execution &amp; Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take full ownership of assigned projects from pre-construction through completion</li>\n<li>Proactively identify risks, constraints, and opportunities and take initiative to resolve them</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and logistics</li>\n<li>Drive projects forward with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and safety</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pre-Construction Coordination</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review budgets, scopes, and assumptions developed through the estimating process</li>\n<li>Participate in handoff meetings to ensure a clear understanding of the project scope and pricing</li>\n<li>Support value engineering discussions as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Financial Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting</li>\n<li>Prepare and manage change orders, cost adjustments, and scope revisions</li>\n<li>Review and approve invoices and pay applications</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client &amp; Team Communication</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders</li>\n<li>Provide clear, consistent project updates and financial reporting</li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors through proactive communication</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality, Safety &amp; Accountability</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all contract documents, building codes, and company standards</li>\n<li>Promote and enforce job-site safety practices</li>\n<li>Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure workmanship meets Burdg &amp; Dunham expectations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Closeout</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, contracts, and change orders</li>\n<li>Lead project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and final turnover documentation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Travel Expectations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Travel as required</span><span> </span>for job-site visits, project meetings, and client coordination</li>\n<li>Overnight travel may be required depending on project location</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation, Benefits &amp; Incentives</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Performance-based bonus</span><span> </span>tied to project outcomes, schedule adherence, budget performance, and overall contribution</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Vehicle allowance</span><span> </span>for project-related travel</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Company-paid insurance</span><span> </span>(medical and/or additional benefits, based on plan offerings)</li>\n<li>Additional benefits, including paid time off and holidays</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction budgeting and cost control</li>\n<li>Proven ability to take initiative and manage projects with minimal oversight</li>\n<li>Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously</li>\n<li>Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with retail build-outs, tenant improvements, or multi-site projects</li>\n<li>OSHA certification or strong knowledge of job-site safety practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">self-starter</span><span> </span>with a true go-getter mentality</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</li>\n<li>Excellent time management and organizational ability</li>\n<li>Client-focused, solution-driven mindset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Work at Burdg &amp; Dunham Construction</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong support from an experienced<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">project management team and experienced in office support</span></li>\n<li>Opportunity to lead high-quality commercial and retail projects</li>\n<li>Collaborative culture that values initiative, accountability, and results</li>\n<li>Compensation and benefits that reward performance and commitment</li>\n</ul>",
