As an <strong>Electrical Designer I</strong>, you&rsquo;ll be part of a collaborative team that&rsquo;s shaping the future of commercial, retail, and industrial spaces across the country.</p>\n\n<p>Whether you&#39;re just starting out or bringing a couple of years of experience, this role offers the chance to grow your skills, work on exciting projects, and be mentored by industry leaders who care about your development.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Requirements include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Designer will assist Electrical Engineer and/or Electrical Design Team to design, implement, and draft construction documents in support of clients&#39; building program, including lighting and power design.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should utilize education and experience to independently tackle minor challenges as they arise on projects, with the support and/or direction of the Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design Team lead.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should start to apply NEC and other national code information for construction documents, with oversight from Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design Team Lead.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should begin to learn fault current calculations and ability to draw 1-Line diagram for simple projects.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Job Duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Designer will develop skills in AutoCAD and/or REVIT, develop strong understanding of NEC and other relevant national codes, travel to project as necessary (as required by client).</li>\n\t<li>Designer will work in a collaborative environment with Architects and other Engineers to develop construction documents based on a clients&#39; requirements</li>\n\t<li>Designer will perform quality control of their own work prior to giving to Electrical Engineer for final review.</li>\n\t<li>Depending on needs of client and team, Designer could have direct contact with client on a regular basis.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>About HFA</strong><br />\nHFA is a multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, and interior design firm who thrives in a people first driven environment.
