    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Production Supervisor </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>An Opportunity you Do-Nut want to miss! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To become the world’s greatest baker, we need the world’s greatest team members </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Operations Leader and Site Leader, as the Shift Leader,<strong> </strong>you will provide hands-on leadership on a production shift within the plant to ensure that production schedules are met safely and on time, while continually reducing costs and increasing overall efficiencies; all within a fast-paced (Just in Time) food manufacturing environment.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shift Timings: Nights (10:30 pm to 7:30 am), with flexibility to arrive earlier or stay later for shift huddles, handovers, and proper shift-to-shift transition</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What FGF Offers:</u></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li> FGF believes in Home Grown Talent, accelerated career growth with leadership training, and unleashing your potential </li>\n <li> Competitive Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits including Vision & Dental, and flexible options at competitive premiums </li>\n <li>401 (k) matching program</li>\n <li> Discount program - Restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc.</li>\n <li> Tuition reimbursement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understands and fulfills the duties of a leader within the production area: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), all food safety programs, all health & safety programs, all FGF policies, programs, or procedures. </li>\n <li>Responsible for leading all production Line Leaders and Team Leaders, in addition to all crews on a shift, by fostering an environment of mutual respect and teamwork</li>\n <li>Coordinates the various department schedules, products, and manpower to ensure that the production in the plant runs smoothly, prioritizing activities of supporting teams when required (maintenance, sanitation, shipping, quality , and engineering). </li>\n <li>Ensures production schedules are met. </li>\n <li>Follow-ups and deals with any problems that may occur. </li>\n <li>Provides orientation and training as required to ensure an effective and efficient workforce. </li>\n <li>Ensures a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company Standards and regular inspections. Also ensures that proper methods and procedures are being used and that quality, safety, and environmental standards are met. </li>\n <li>Assists in all testing of new equipment, methods, and or products, as well as troubleshoots processes and equipment, having a basic understanding of all equipment. </li>\n <li>Utilizes the SAP system & the WMS System</li>\n <li>Completes daily reports on KPI’s and follows up with Line Leaders /Team Leads to ensure output targets are being met. </li>\n <li>Responsible for the management and updating of the Skills Matrix for their respective shift, and providing an updated Job / Break rotation schedule to the leadership team. </li>\n <li>Creates a Weekly Schedule Spreadsheet for the shift and is responsible for scheduling the correct number of TMs based on standard crew profiles. </li>\n <li>Provides Support to the leadership team in dealing with performance / behavioral concerns with TMs on shift and completes Performance Feedback Processes for TMs.</li>\n <li>Updates and provides Daily Huddle Sheets for leaders before shift start. </li>\n <li>Answers calls on the radio (cellphones, if applicable) from various departments. </li>\n <li>Creates daily T&A schedules for the Shift and clears exceptions in T&A. </li>\n <li>Ensures all TM’s are assigned to the correct line. </li>\n <li>Tracks the Late /Absence of TM’s (absence tracker). </li>\n <li>Monitors LOT CONTROL & REFILL BIN Activity. </li>\n <li>Monitors inventory activity (finished goods or materials). </li>\n <li>On time - Stage materials to continue scanning FG in packaging. </li>\n <li>Supports LL in updating the Shift Report when required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3-4 years of leadership experience (manufacturing leadership is strongly preferred)</li>\n <li>Must be a demonstrated leader who interacts with others and is adept at leading/motivating a team to meet schedule demands   </li>\n <li>Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities  </li>\n <li>Ability to manage difficult people (conflict resolution, team engagement, collaboration)  </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision   </li>\n <li>Flexible to work days, afternoons, nights & weekends if needed  </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP & O.H.S.A required  </li>\n <li>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)  </li>\n <li>Post-secondary education is an asset </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</u></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
