The Statewide Psychiatric Director supervises psychiatric staff and collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams in providing services to patients with psychiatric disorders in a correctional setting.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Key Components of this Leadership Position</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain excellent relationships with the client, Kansas&nbsp;Department of Corrections</li>\r\n\t<li>Serve as the Psychiatric Expert for Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Statewide Medical Director</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate with Providers and maintain awareness of critical patients at all locations</li>\r\n\t<li>Work on-site as needed or through tele psych services</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in hiring and training new Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure adequate coverage and scheduling, in cooperation with management</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain records and generate reports</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete site visit reports for review</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
