    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>As our Maintenance Supervisor&nbsp;you&nbsp;will be to maximize availability of all plant and equipment while complying with safety, legislative, environmental and certifying authority requirements by ensuring efficient preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising activities of maintenance personnel, providing recommendations for solutions to maintenance problems, verifying completed work meets applicable requirements; and recommending operating and capital budget items.</p><p>Solving challenges is the very foundation of who we are. Our creative and talented team of over 2000 people across every corner of the world, help us remain the global leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry.</p><p>Here’s what you can expect every day:</p><ul><li>Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel.</li><li>Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance.</li><li>Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.</li><li>Investigate accidents and injuries, and prepare reports of findings.</li><li>Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.</li><li>Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results.</li><li>Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.</li><li>Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.</li><li>Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.</li><li>Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.</li></ul><p>Rust-Oleum is an equal opportunity employer. Employment selection and related decisions are made without regard to sex, race, age, disability, religion, national origin, color, or any other protected class.</p><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or industrial technology preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership in the following areas: preventative maintenance, implementing continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, safety, standard work and employee coaching &amp; development.</li><li>Experience with CMMS required.</li><li>PSM (Process Safety Management) and or TCPA experience preferred.</li><li>Must possess good verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.</li><li>Experience in ISO 9001:2008 environment preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Consideration Given to Those With:</strong></p><ul><li>Exposure to quality programs</li><li>Experience with SAP</li><li>Paint/Coatings/chemical industry knowledge or experience</li></ul>",
