This role ensures that all technical aspects of a project are aligned with organizational goals, budget constraints, and timeline requirements. Also, collaborates with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Responsibilities Will Be: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyzes project specifications and performance requirements to determine the appropriate equipment design.</li>\n <li>Provides engineering and technical support to the Project Management team on Original Equipment projects.</li>\n <li>Provides technical support to the Aftermarket team as needed.</li>\n <li>Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations.</li>\n <li>Confers with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop suitable product designs.</li>\n <li>Creates and reviews technical datasheets (regular and ISF formats).</li>\n <li>Reviews of general arrangement and detail drawings.</li>\n <li>Directs preparation of product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.</li>\n <li>Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.</li>\n <li>Evaluates and approves structural designs as necessary.</li>\n <li>Provides analytical calculations to ensure that the equipment is in accordance to governing codes and regulations.</li>\n <li>Participate in new product or product development strategies.</li>\n <li>Travels to customer or vendor sites as necessary to participate in meetings or inspections.</li>\n <li>Maintains current knowledge of new trends in products/processes.</li>\n <li>Attend internal meetings as required.</li>\n <li>Completes project-specific engineering output for assigned projects, including the creation of all equipment specifications, production of drawings, and review of Bills of Material.</li>\n <li>Interfaces directly with vendors, customers, consulting engineers, and representatives regarding project engineering issues.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.</li>\n <li>Must have 8+ years of engineering experience.</li>\n <li>ASME VIII Code Experience</li>\n <li>Pressure Vessel Design</li>\n <li>Project Execution</li>\n <li>Fabrication Shop Support</li>\n <li>Experience interfacing with marketing, sales, manufacturing, and vendors regarding solution of product problems and translation of customer requirements into product specifications.</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate creativity and analytical engineering skills in the application of technologies to new projects.</li>\n <li>Ability to overcome obstacles, to achieve goals and adapt to a changing environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel, as required.</li>\n <li>Experience using MS Office, Excel, and other normal business software.</li>\n <li>Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (2-D and 3-D).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Materials Engineering & TraceabilityWelding</li>\n <li>Documentation & Data Books</li>\n <li>Customer & EPC</li>\n</ul>This position supports U.S. government programs; therefore, \n<strong>U.S. citizenship is required</strong>. \n<p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> May travel to customer sites or other company locations to support installations, training, or problem resolution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ADA Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. </p>\n<p>This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.</li>\n <li>The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job. </li>\n <li>Compliance with company attendance standards. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
