    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY</u></strong></p>\n<p>Provide and interpret comprehensive audiological evaluations including but not limited to: audiometry, tympanometry, Otoacoustic emissions, acoustic reflex testing, and electro/video nystagmography. &nbsp;Also provide hearing aid evaluation, fitting and maintenance.</p>\n<p><strong><u>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Master’s degree in Audiology or graduate from an Au.D program.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong><u>Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Three years of audiology experience in a physician practice setting preferred.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Knowledge of auditory equipment and measuring instruments. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to make sound, independent judgments and demonstrate concepts of healthcare team collaboration.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of auditory equipment and procedures, protocols and safety hazards common to administering auditory tests and procedures. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Excellent prioritizing and problem solving skills. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and perform simple adjustments. &nbsp;</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong><u>License/Certification/Registration:</u></strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Current Pennsylvania license in Audiology. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must meet and maintain the American Heart Association’s standard for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong><u>WORKING CONDITIONS</u></strong></p>\n<p>Exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to a clinic environment. &nbsp;Requires working in varied settings including exam and audiology rooms. May require working in close quarters.</p>\n<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</u></strong></p>\n<p>Requires full range body motion including manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. &nbsp; Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. &nbsp;Requires a combination of sitting, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and manipulation of patients.</p>",
