    "description": "<p>Reports to: Foreman and Superintendent<br>FLSA: Non-Exempt</p>\n<p><br>JOB SUMMARY:<br>The Laborer is responsible for onsite execution of all assigned tasks. Through daily coordination with the Carpenter Foreman and/or Superintendent, the laborer will track and complete tasks in order to facilitate the needs of the project team and schedule. He/she will assist the project team in the field to maintain the professional appearance of the project as well as JHL’s safety and quality programs.</p>\n<p><br>REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:<br>Core Duties / Responsibilities:<br><span>• Performing physical labor on a construction site</span><br><span>• Moving/handling materials around construction site</span><br><span>• Coordinate with the Carpenter, Foreman and/or Superintendent on prioritization of craft task, and on all decisions related to or direction regarding subcontractors.</span><br><span>• Perform watchman duties, including flagman, garbage and debris handler, dumpman, firewatch, and tending of heaters and pumps.</span><br><span>• General cleanup, including sweeping, cleaning, and wiping of construction site or facility, washroom, equipment, and furnishings, removal and loading of all debris.</span><br><span>• Hooking on, signaling, dumping and unhooking the bucket when concrete or aggregates are conveyed.</span><br><span>• Filling and patching of voids, crevices to correct defects in concrete.</span><br><span>• Moving, cleaning, oiling and carrying of all forms to the next point of erection.</span><br><span>• Place grade markers as assigned, and run errands as assigned.</span><br><span>• Other duties as assigned.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Education / Experience:<br>• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred</p>\n<p><br>Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:<br>• Maintain OSHA 10 (minimum) and recommended refresher training.<br>• Obtain as required - project specific and equipment operation safety training.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements: FIELD</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-weight: bold\">% of Work Time</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must have the ability to remain in a standing or kneeling position. - 90%</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must have the ability to speak, write and comprehend English language. - 50%</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must have the ability to lift tools and supplies, up to 50 lbs. - 40%</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must have the ability to hear clearly. - 100%</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must have the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach. - 100%</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must have dexterity to utilize and manipulate tools and materials. - 100%</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must have clear vision, or wear glasses/contacts if vision is obscured - 100%</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #595959\">TOTAL COMPENSATION:</span></span></p>\n<p><span>We offer competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, vacation, sick days, holidays a 401(k)-retirement plan with a match and fringe benefits</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>WORK ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVEL:<br>• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather: snow, rain, and heat; loud noise, diesel fumes, grease, and oil smells.<br>• Daily travel as business requires during scheduled work hours.<br><br>DISCLAIMER:<br>This job description is a summary and not meant to cover or include all tasks, duties, or responsibilities that the employee may be required to perform.
