This role is located in <strong>Montpelier, OH </strong>and will be fully on-site. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Starting Pay:</strong><strong> $24.51</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong><strong> Mon-Thur. 6p - 6a; & Mon-Wed. 6p - 6a</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pay Schedule:</strong><strong> Weekly</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Machine Operator </strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work safely and promote the safety of those working around you; help build a proactive safety culture</li>\n <li>Meet Forgeworks' customers' demand by operating the forging, cleaning, and machining equipment including:</li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Job setup – tool assembly and installation</li>\n   <li>Running the job following JSWPs and quality processes</li>\n   <li>Clean up and preparation for the next job</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Meet or exceed the quality expectations of the customer as defined by the Engineering and Quality organizations by following the quality process:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Periodic part inspection</li>\n   <li>Participate in root cause analysis</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Meet or exceed financial targets by achieving operating performance targets such as yield and operating efficiency</li>\n <li>Additional Accountabilities:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Read and interpret dimensional layouts when needed</li>\n   <li>Adhere to ISO 9001 and NSF standards</li>\n   <li>Perform operator based preventative maintenance.</li>\n   <li>Shipping, receiving and utility work</li>\n   <li>Process audits</li>\n   <li>Sorting product needed for shipment</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Machine Operator Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years' experience operating machinery preferred</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Must be able to operate a forklift – training provided</li>\n <li>Able to lift 30 pounds</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, written and verbal</li>\n <li>Ability to read drawings</li>\n <li>Problem solving skills / critical thinker</li>\n <li>Desire to learn and develop technical skills to keep current with changing manufacturing processes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Joining Wieland’s team gives you…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Benefits</strong> - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement Savings</strong> - 401(k) contribution + match.</li>\n <li><strong>Work/Life Balance</strong> - Paid Vacation & Holidays.</li>\n <li><strong>Growth Opportunities</strong> - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
