You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.</b></p>\n<p><b>JOB SUMMARY</b><br>\n  The Senior Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for a significant piece of TriNet's applications and technology environment. The position will lead the design, &nbsp;development and launch of TriNet's multi-tenant SaaS applications used by thousands of customers on TriNet's private and public cloud. Manager will be leading multi-functional teams that include developers, automation engineers, and Architects.</p>\n<p>In this role, you will regularly interact with Senior Leadership across the company and drive technology and application vision along with roadmap for service owned, ensuring alignment with standard methodologies as well as striving for continuous improvements in operational and engineering excellence. This is a hands-on Technical Manager role, providing a great opportunity to deliver an innovative user experience using the latest technologies for TriNet's Human Resource, Payroll and Benefits platform.<br><br><b>Essential Duties/Responsibilities</b><br>\n  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversees a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on approach, mindset, and process that considers both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product the meets the user’s needs&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manages the technical scope, schedule, cost, performance, and risk while ensuring project plans are adhered to and on track with timing&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Coordinates with project team and other departments to ensure the product is documented and designed to appropriate quality, certification, and industry standards&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Focuses on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional processes and procedures&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Generates system functional requirements from stakeholder expectations; allocates requirements to sub-systems/hardware/software components per design&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Interacts with engineering team to define and shape requirements for future platforms and systems; recommends strategies and/or hardware/software enhancements to increase team productivity and ensure efficient operation&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Validates and verifies systems requirements in accordance with project plans, troubleshoots and resolves integration/verification issues, and develops and executes test cases and procedures to verify the system under test&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Inspires and engages a team offering an environment of learning and career development and supporting individual and team goals&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><b>Required for All Jobs</b><br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs other duties as assigned<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complies with all policies and standards<br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><b>Education</b><br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor's Degree&nbsp;in Computer Science/Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><b>Work Experience</b><br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Typically 10+ years&nbsp;software design &amp; development experience&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Typically 6+ years engineering leadership experience&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</b><br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent problem-solving skills with deep hands-on technical expertise with latest Cloud/SaaS based Open Source technologies&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficient in TypeScript, strong SQL and data modeling skills and graphQL&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Solid understanding of system engineering/requirements/integration and computer hardware and software systems&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Expert knowledge of data center infrastructure and virtualization technologies&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to project manage and collaborate to gather requirements and develop solutions&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n  •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent attention to details and exceptional organizational skills&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $143,700.00 to $287,500.00. &nbsp;All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. &nbsp;All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion.
