This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving capability and attention to detail.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement and maintain safe systems of work within the test environment</li>\n<li>Execute test procedures, capturing accurate and reliable data</li>\n<li>Support the setup, debugging and commissioning of powertrain test rigs</li>\n<li>Identify and manage required test equipment, parts and spares</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with engineering teams to support product development and continuous improvement</li>\n<li>Provide practical, analytical input to resolve technical issues</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About you:</span></p>\n<p>We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive and adaptable mindset, ideally with experience in a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential skills &amp; experience:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience</li>\n<li>Previous experience working as a Test Technician within a similar industry (e.g. automotive, EV, manufacturing, or powertrain)</li>\n<li>Electrical/electronics background, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret schematics</li>\n<li>Experience with panel wiring</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Strong computer literacy and confidence working with test systems and software</li>\n<li>Experience working within a demanding, hands-on technical environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a Maintenance Technician role</li>\n<li>High voltage training or IMI Level 2 (or equivalent) in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Systems</li>\n<li>Experience working with powertrain or motor testing environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why join AEM?</span></span></p>\n<p>We’re an ambitious and innovative business where your contribution will be visible, valued and impactful.
