    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong Java background to build, automate, and operate the infrastructure that powers our healthcare technology platform. You will be the connective tissue between development and operations — accelerating delivery pipelines, strengthening cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of critical healthcare systems.</p>\n<p>As a DevOps Engineer, this is your opportunity to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based microservices and enterprise healthcare applications using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar.</li>\n <li>Customize CI/CD pipelines, including build stages, test automation, artifact management, and deployment strategies.</li>\n <li>Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools). </li>\n <li>Deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, and networking components. </li>\n <li>Handle storage and access configurations such as S3 bucket policies, IAM roles, file permissions, and mount/server path configurations (EFS/NFS).</li>\n <li>Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions, including AWS CloudWatch, Log Insights, and integration with centralized logging tools (e.g., ELK, Splunk).</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues, with strong Linux administration and debugging skills. </li>\n <li>Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Shell, or Python for deployment and operational tasks. </li>\n <li>Manage source control and branching strategies using Git (GitLab), including integration with CI/CD pipelines. </li>\n <li>Apply security best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure, and application deployment (secrets management, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning). </li>\n <li>Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or on-prem clusters).</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Java development teams to embed DevOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle</li>\n <li>Ensure system reliability, performance, and security compliance across healthcare environments</li>\n <li>Support integration with healthcare ecosystem partners </li>\n <li>Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and minimize incidents</li>\n <li>Mentor developers on DevOps tooling, practices, and cloud-native patterns</li>\n <li>Enforce security best practices — secrets management, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, and HIPAA compliance controls</li>\n <li>Manage configuration and environment consistency across dev, staging, and production</li>\n <li>Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in an Agile delivery model</li>\n <li>Support EDI healthcare transaction pipelines (837, 834, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278) from an infrastructure and integration standpoint</li>\n <li>Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and drive post-mortem processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><u>Required Qualification:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field</li>\n <li>5+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE experience in an enterprise environment</li>\n <li>Strong Java development background — ability to read, debug, and work alongside Java/Spring Boot codebases</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)</li>\n <li>Proficiency with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture patterns</li>\n <li>Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes / EKS)</li>\n <li>Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormationSolid understanding of networking, security groups, VPCs, and IAM in AWS</li>\n <li>Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, PagerDuty, etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models</li>\n <li>Understanding of SQL, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services, and middleware technologies</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills — able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>\n <li>Comfortable in a fully remote, async-first work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in healthcare IT — Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or Commercial insurance domains</li>\n <li>Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, PHI data handling, and healthcare security standards</li>\n <li>Familiarity with EDI healthcare transactions (837, 834, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278)</li>\n <li>Exposure to healthcare ecosystem platforms such as HealthRules, TriZetto, NASCO, Advantasure, or Change Healthcare</li>\n <li>Experience supporting healthcare core administration systems — claims adjudication and enrollment platforms</li>\n <li>AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)</li>\n <li>Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence</li>\n <li>Familiarity with secrets management tools (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Who you are: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n
