Description Sedgman Novopro recherche actuellement un ingénieur tuyauterie mécanique senior pour son bureau de Montréal, au Québec. Le candidat idéal aura une expérience en conception mécanique dans le cadre de projets miniers/industriels lourds, depuis la conception et les études jusqu'à la réalisation du projet ; il aura des connaissances et une expérience solides, en particulier dans le domaine des équipements de traitement mécanique, de la tôlerie et de la tuyauterie. Sedgman Novopro is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer for their Montreal, Qc office. The ideal candidate will have mechanical design experience working on mining/heavy industrial type projects, from conceptual design and studies through to project completion; they will have strong knowledge and experience specifically in mechanical process equipment, platework and piping. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ranging from engineering design, equipment selection, and on-site support and quality control. They will participate in all project phases, from proposal preparation, studies, detailed engineering design, construction, and commissioning. The ideal incumbent will have prior site experience and will be able to ensure that on-site engineering functions are efficiently completed and technically compliant to support construction activities. On site, they will ensure the project is constructed safely, meets design requirements, constructed on time and within budget. En quoi consiste ce rôle? Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts. Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to company policies and procedures. Expérience professionnelle pertinente de 15 à 20 ans en tuyauterie mécanique Membre de l'OIQ (ingénieur professionnel au Québec). Facilité avérée à diriger de petites équipes de projet dans le domaine de la conception mécanique. Expérience préalable dans une mine ou sur un chantier de construction requise. Maîtrise de la suite MS Office, MS Project ou Primavera P6 fortement souhaitée. Une expérience en administration de contrats est un atout. Capacité à gérer de manière sûre et efficace le rythme de travail, les priorités et les activités.
