Teachers provide content-specific rigorous lessons for enrichment and remedial support. &nbsp; Other services and activities coordinated by the individuals in this role include design of engagement plans for students who may be struggling and offer other supports and strategies for student success.<br><br></span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">This is a part time, hourly, position.&nbsp;<br><br></span><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Example of Duties:</strong></span></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li id=\"isPasted\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Part-time, Fall &ndash; Spring (20 Saturdays) 8:30 am &ndash; 1:30 pm. (up to 10 hours/week)</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Proficient with technology&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Collect, analyze and maintain student data, including test scores and Personal Educational Plans to improve service delivery to students and increase student outcomes</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Plan and deliver engaging curriculum in required content area using culturally responsive practices</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Establish and maintain relationship(s) with Pre College personnel, any additional personnel related to the program&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Facilitate ongoing monitoring and assessment of student progress</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong id=\"isPasted\">Prerequisite&nbsp;</strong><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required, Certification in related subject area (mathematics, English, biology, physics, chemistry) preferred. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Must have one or more years&rsquo; classroom teaching experience with adolescents, as well as experience in conducting testing and training activities. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of effective instructional practices and classroom management techniques. &nbsp;Willingness to attend training to utilize the credit recovery platform.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Comfortable leading online lessons using Google Meet and/or Zoom.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Must be available to work the entirety of the six-week program.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience working with high school students</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of TRIO and/or college preparatory programs helpful.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidates.</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Compensation:</strong> Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications.
