If you’re ready for a challenge supported by a culture of safety, stability growth and a positive work environment, we invite you to begin your journey with us. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Contact our team of in-house Recruiters: <strong>1-866-8-TRIMAC</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Job Details</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting at $34.00 per hour, based on experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required.</li>\n <li>Move trucks in and out of the shop for maintenance</li>\n <li>Open repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair order</li>\n <li>Perform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standards</li>\n <li>Performs shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment, and submits reports indicating the condition of equipment.</li>\n <li>Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Must be HM183 certified</li>\n <li>Prior Diesel Mechanic experience</li>\n <li>Ability to provide own basic hand tools</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills</li>\n <li>Ability to read and comprehend service manuals</li>\n <li>Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the shop to repair and maintain company equipment</li>\n <li>A basic knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance</li>\n <li>Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and accessorial equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Holiday and vacation pay</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Life Insurance & Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care)</li>\n <li>401 (K)Profit sharing with company match (fully vested after 3 years)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Safety Commitments</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>We make safety a part of every decision</li>\n <li>We make safety personal</li>\n <li>We have the courage to intervene</li>\n</ul>",
