    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, machinery and infrastructure as assigned by the Plant Engineer.&nbsp;</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and responsibilities: </strong>Include the following, other duties may be assigned.</p>\n<ul>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Effectively troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to identify issues and take necessary corrective actions.</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Inspect machinery, lubricate and make adjustments or repairs as needed.</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment and ensure good operating condition while optimizing equipment up time and ensure the safe and timely manufacture of products</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Document preventative maintenance and repairs in equipment maintenance logs per maintenance department requirements&nbsp;</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Perform facility maintenance as required</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Participate in the installation of new equipment and physical structures as required</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Operate shop equipment and tools as skill level will permit</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Ability to work overtime on nights and weekends as required for the efficient operation of equipment of the facility or when emergencies arise.</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">&nbsp;Support site housekeeping, safety programs or other related tasks and duties as assigned.</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Secure forklift, lift truck and scissor lift certifications within 90 days of employment</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Follow proper safety rules and regulations throughout the facility using OSHA best practices. Report any safety concerns or issues to management immediately.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li dir = \"auto\">High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Technical school certificate in mechanical, electrical systems or hydraulics a plus</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Experience with plastic or silicone processing equipment</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Experience with building automation system (BAS)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Skills and Attributes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Work in a fast paced, flexible environment</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Self-motivated, does not need constant supervision</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Work well on a diverse team</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Ability to communicate effectively with management as well as other team members</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Knowledge and understanding of three phase and single phase power systems, electrical wiring and control circuity.</li>\n<li dir = \"auto\">Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Language Skills:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Mathematical Skills:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Reasoning Ability:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
