People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move, and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Duties include design and drafting for the preparation of civil works drawings for land development projects, including; subdivisions, commercial and industrial sites, as well as public sector capital infrastructure projects, including roads, transit, deep utilities, and streetscape projects</li>\n <li>Lead and assist the CAD Team with projects from developing plans, section details, schedules, and quantity take-offs</li>\n <li>Attend client, municipal, and authority meetings</li>\n <li>Completion of tasks received from the engineers</li>\n <li>Ability to resolve and/or communicate any technical issues that may arise</li>\n <li>Coordination of sub-consultants and municipal approvals</li>\n <li>Preparation of detailed construction drawings and details</li>\n <li>The oversight of drafting and design output from junior engineers and technologists, which may include project management for the coordination and delivery of&nbsp;a complete, detailed design drawing package</li>\n <li>The provision of quality control on drafting, presentations, and design for any given drawing package</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diploma in Civil Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting is essential</li>\n <li>5 years of related experience</li>\n <li>Solid knowledge of AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational, computer, and writing skills</li>\n <li>Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Word</li>\n <li>Experience with drafting and assisting on tender documents, technical specifications, schedule of quantities, and construction cost estimates would be an asset</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills/positive attitude and ability to work in a team atmosphere is required</li>\n <li>Proficient in Civil 3D (2020 and up)</li>\n <li>Registered or the ability to become registered with ASET is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
