This position supports Electricians in installing electrical wiring in commercial buildings, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing electrical systems.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Essential Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Assist in installing electrical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Install lighting, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Thread conduit ends and connect couplings and conduit fittings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Secure brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pull wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Replace faulty circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Replace old fuse boxes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Hook up appliances for power.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Install new lighting and ceiling fans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Consult with engineers, engineering technicians, line installers and repairers, or industrial machinery mechanics and maintenance workers when performing installations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Assist in rewiring commercial buildings.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Leadership Skills and Characteristics:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Reliable and responsible for quality work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Effective time-management skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Team collaboration skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Able to work independently with minimal supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Positive attitude.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Immediate Supervisor:  </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">This position reports to the Electrical Superintendent.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Required Education, Skills, and Experience:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to use electrical tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and analyze electrical drawings and blueprints.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of working in commercial electrical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Note: In accordance with Federal Law, Bjerk Builders, LLC does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, color, race, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, political belief or activity, status as a veteran, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.</p>",
