    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Legacy Medical Group Neurology is recruiting outpatient (clinic-based) Neurologists to join our team. A background in movement disorders or neuromuscular medicine is highly desired, but Legacy will consider other subspecialties for exceptional candidates.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Legacy Neurology has 4 practice locations in the Portland-Vancouver metro area (clinics are all either in Portland or within 20 minutes of downtown). The clinic-based Neurologist will provide outpatient consultation and management of patients with neurological disorders at one or more of our locations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The new physician will join our team of 10 outpatient neurologists, 4 clinic APPs, and 8 neurohospitalists. We have subspecialty programs in autoimmune neurology/MS, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, neuro-ophthalmology, and vascular neurology.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Some general neurology practice is required of all our physicians, but there is an opportunity to develop a subspecialty practice as desired. Some inpatient general neurology is coverage required, although Neurohospitalists manage all acute stroke assessment.
