The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play in a role in various commercial space endeavors with our partners that include Intuitive Machines, Axiom Space, Lockheed Martin, and others.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Ground Station Systems Engineer</strong> will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support real-time operation and continuous advancement of a global ground station network</li>\n <li>Support design, integration, test, and operation of ground station hardware and software systems</li>\n <li><p>Assist in creating and executing test plans for:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Baseband Units (BBUs)</p></li>\n   <li><p>RF systems and signal chains</p></li>\n   <li><p>AWS cloud infrastructure</p></li>\n   <li><p>Mission control center systems</p></li>\n   <li><p>Critical TT&C ground elements</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Develop operational products, including:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Procedures</p></li>\n   <li><p>Asset schedules</p></li>\n   <li><p>Troubleshooting documentation</p></li>\n   <li><p>Interface Control Documents (ICDs)</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Participate in technical meetings such as working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)</p></li>\n <li><p>Serve as a real-time ground operator during mission activities</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate ground software and network automation</p></li>\n <li><p>Support Integration & Verification (I&V) activities across the ground segment</p></li>\n <li><p>Develop and enforce Mission Rules to ensure system health and mission success</p></li>\n <li><p>Contribute across the full cradle-to-grave lifecycle.</p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education/Experience/Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited engineering school and five (5) years of related engineering experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>-OR-</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited engineering school and ten (10) years of related engineering experience</li>\n <li>Proficiency in ground station testing and operational workflows</li>\n <li>Experience with benchtop testing of RF, analog, and digital signals</li>\n <li>Familiarity with test equipment such as:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Network analyzers</li>\n   <li>Oscilloscopes</li>\n   <li>Modems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Knowledge of common ground hardware including HPAs, LNAs, circulators, and diplexers</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and make time‑critical decisions in high‑risk environments</li>\n <li>Experience with preflight training, integrated procedures, and mission rule development</li>\n <li>Ability to provide cross‑disciplinary engineering support</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Prefe</strong><strong>rred Education/Experience/Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with ground station design and TT&C operations (hardware, software, RF communications)</li>\n <li>Experience with spacecraft subsystems such as:</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Flight control</li>\n  <li>Flight dynamics</li>\n  <li>Orbital mechanics</li>\n  <li>Avionics</li>\n  <li>Power systems</li>\n  <li>Command & telemetry</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Real-time satellite/spacecraft operations experience across multiple technical domains</li>\n <li>Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, routing, DHCP)</li>\n <li>Experience working with international partners or supporting global operations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.</li>\n <li>Post offer applicants and employees are subject to
