    "description": "<p>We’re looking for a second <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Engineering Manager</span> to lead and grow one of our engineering teams at <a href=\"http://px.com/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PX.com</a>. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team culture, developing engineers, and ensuring we deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance people management with technical direction, working closely with the Head of Engineering. Together with her, you will shape how we build and deliver software.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As an Engineering Manager, you will:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Grow and develop engineers</span>: Support individual career development through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lead with impact</span>: Drive team execution and ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable software.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shape technical direction</span>: Contribute to the engineering group’s architecture decisions, process improvements, and adoption of best practices.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Foster innovation</span>: Create an environment where experimentation, learning, and technical excellence are encouraged.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Improve processes</span>: Partner with other leaders to evolve how we work, from agile delivery to CI/CD adoption and DevOps culture.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Build alignment</span>: Work cross-functionally to make sure business objectives and technical goals stay connected.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Guide culture</span>: Champion collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements: </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p>We’d love to hear from you if you bring:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>4+ years of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">experience managing engineering teams</span>, with proven ability to build and grow high-performing teams.</li>\n<li>8+ years of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">professional experience as a software engineer</span>, with a strong technical foundation.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">develop, mentor, and coach engineers</span>, helping them achieve personal and professional growth.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">system architecture, SDLC, DevOps, and agile methodologies</span>.</li>\n<li>Experience working in the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">cloud</span> (Azure is a plus, but other cloud providers are also valuable).</li>\n<li>Experience driving <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">innovation, process improvements, and adoption of best practices</span> across teams.</li>\n<li>Ability to influence <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">technical direction and architectural decisions</span> in collaboration with staff engineers and leadership.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders across engineering, product, and business.</li>\n<li>A track record of creating an inclusive, collaborative, and high-trust engineering culture.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">.NET</span> as a core part of the stack is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation &amp; Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Free Gym membership.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Office Exchange Option</span>: You will be able to work from our offices in New York or Amsterdam without taking vacations.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Innovative Environment:</span> We foster a culture of innovation where your ideas can become reality.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Growth Opportunities:</span> We support continuous learning and professional development to help you reach new heights in your career.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We strongly encourage women and candidates from underrepresented groups to apply and bring their unique perspectives to our team.</p>",
