    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>AmTrust E&S Insurance Services, a member of the AmTrust group of companies, is searching for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Underwriter to join the E&S Property team. The Senior Underwriter will have frequent interactions with wholesale brokers in providing coverage for new and renewal business based on customer’s needs. The ideal candidate will work in a team environment, demonstrate a strong customer focus that will reinforce the departments appetite and strategy. This candidate will possess strong decision-making skills, be detailed oriented, able to build & sustain broker relationships, be results driven, and have a track record of working in a fast-paced environment. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze, review and negotiates policy terms and conditions that are in line with the departments underwriting guidelines.</li>\n <li>Underwrite targeted new and renewal business by reviewing and analyzing insureds (or prospective insureds) loss history, exposures, and other pertinent information.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the development of marketing plans, product analysis, services, geographic focus and broker intelligence.</li>\n <li>Perform related duties as requested to include report preparation, presentations, and special projects to assist in ensuring the success of the product line unit.</li>\n <li>Seek out and develop new relationships with wholesale brokers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the wholesale E&S underwriting space with established broker relationships.</li>\n <li>Portfolio management mindset with focus on balance and diversification, while continually seeking to identify emerging trends and opportunities to help deliver long-term underwriting profit. </li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of E&S property insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.</li>\n <li>Have an in-depth knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and trends.</li>\n <li>Builder and growth mindset.</li>\n <li>Excellent presentation skills and accustomed to interacting both in-person or virtually with various external stakeholders and trading partners.  Ability to influence and persuade through advanced written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position is hybrid.
