We believe in providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere to help improve the quality of life for those in pain.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong> The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for coordinating and implementing appropriate methods of treatment to patients in the behavioral health program.</p><h1><br></h1><h1><u>DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING</u>:</h1><p>· Greets patients and introduces self.</p><p>· Presents a professional image and customer focus.</p><p>· Verifies patient information, medical history, medications, and confirms purpose of visit.</p><p>· Conducts pre-surgical evaluations and diagnosis as required for surgical implant procedures</p><p>· Provides assessment, diagnosis and individual therapy treatment to patients in the behavioral health program.</p><p>· Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.</p><p>· Performs routine and crisis counseling/interventions, and suicide risk assessments as needed.</p><p>· Provides referrals for services as needed.</p><p>· Responsible for the content of education and counseling programs for patients.</p><p>· Responsible for appropriate documentation of information in patients' charts (EMR/EHR).</p><p>· Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.</p><p>· Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.</p><p>· Practices safe habits including but not limited to infection control, lifting procedures, etc.</p><p>· Practices teamwork by helping others willingly and communicating in a professional manner</p><p>· Coordinates with clinical and other staff members in the provision of services to patients.</p><p>· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities</p><p>· Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.</p><p>· Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</p><p>· Operates standard office equipment</p><p>· Adheres to Advanced Pain Care’s Policies and procedures</p><p>· Has regular and predictable attendance</p><p>· Performs other duties as assigned.</p>",
