In this position, you will play a pivotal role in protecting the client site, personnel, and visitors.</span></p><p><span>Only candidates with a law enforcement academic background (Police Foundations, Criminology, or other security-related programs) will be considered.</span></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li><span>Conduct regular patrols to uphold safety standards for visitors, tenants, and assets.</span></li><li><span>Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.</span></li><li><span>Escort medical staff including paramedics, police, and firefighters when required.</span></li><li><span>Provide assistance during medical emergencies, including CPR and AED intervention.</span></li><li><span>Unlock and lock doors for authorized personnel.</span></li><li><span>Investigate and deter trespassers along site perimeters.</span></li><li><span>Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or appropriate personnel.</span></li><li><span>Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities; perform dispatch duties including emergency response.</span></li></ul><p style=\"tab-stops:.25in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li><span>Postsecondary education in Law Enforcement, Police Foundations, Criminology, or equivalent.</span></li><li><span>Valid Ontario Security Guard License.</span></li><li><span>Valid First Aid &amp; CPR Level C certification.</span></li><li><span>Valid full G driver’s license with a clean driving record.</span></li><li><span>Strong observational skills with the ability to detect and respond to threats.</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li><li><span>Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.</span></li><li><span>Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.</span></li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><p>#AF-EasternCanada</p>",
