This position also recruits, provides training, supervises,&nbsp;</p><p>instructs, and monitors professional and ancillary staff rendering care to patients in their homes or&nbsp;</p><p>ambulatory infusion suite (AIS). Ensures compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulatory&nbsp;</p><p>requirements.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>1. Maintains knowledge of and compliance with current home health and nursing licensing regulations applicable to the state licensure and applicable Accreditation Standards.</p><p>2. Ensures state, federal and accreditation compliance with agency operations, patient clinical records and nursing documentation to include but not limited to ensuring state required annual meetings and required document submissions are completed if required by state regulation.</p><p>3. Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of agency activities.</p><p>4. Responsible for quality management programs, emergency planning, and performance improvement based on the Agency needs, state, or federal requirements as well as&nbsp;</p><p>accreditation standards.&nbsp;</p><p>5. Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume, which could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses.</p><p>6. Analyzes nursing payroll metrics to manage productive and nonproductive hours in addition to overtime and undertime.&nbsp;</p><p>7. Coordinates and oversees supervision of all direct and indirect patient services provided by agency personnel which may include assisting with patient visits as needed.</p><p>8. Coordinates and oversees supervision of employees to include recruiting, human resource management, education and training, performance metrics, ongoing communication with team, on-call management, coordination with agency partners.</p><p>9. Assists Nursing Supervisors and Nursing Team Leaders with developing skills and techniques for evaluating the performance of direct reports.&nbsp;</p><p>10. Adequately assesses risk and works well in problem solving situations. Seeks assistance from appropriate resources as needed to solve clinical and/or management concerns.<br><br>11. Assists with patient home visits as needed.</p><p>12. Works cooperatively with other home health agencies and/or staffing agencies providing patient care on behalf of the Company in receiving authorizations, nursing notes, and invoices for skilled nursing visits.</p><p>13. In the absence of the Administrator, will become the acting Administrator and will be vested with authority to act on behalf of the Administrator.</p><p>14.
