Take full vital signs, as well as height and weight at each office visit&nbsp;</p><p>3. Explain procedures to patients to allay apprehension and gain cooperation. Have patient fill out appropriate paperwork before each procedure.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Administer prescribed medication, injections and treatment in accordance with approved nursing technique, within scope of practice&nbsp;</p><p>5. Prepare equipment and assist medical provider during treatment and examination of patient&nbsp;</p><p>6. Chart accurately and promptly in the EMR&nbsp;</p><p>7. Initiate patient education plans with patient and family&nbsp;</p><p>8. Rotate among various departments and office sites as needed&nbsp;</p><p>9. Keep exam rooms prepared, cleaned and stocked; empty biohazard waste&nbsp;</p><p>10. Help maintain efficient patient flow through communication with healthcare teams&nbsp;</p><p>11. Answer telephone and messages in a timely manner within 24 hours&nbsp;</p><p>12. Monitor desktop and send patient letters / make phone calls daily&nbsp;</p><p>13. Answer patient questions as needed and within scope of practice&nbsp;</p><p>14. Complete 48-hour chart check daily and fill-out appropriate logs as indicated 15. Make lab and specialty appointments for patients&nbsp;</p><p>16. Respond to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocols within the scope of nursing practice&nbsp;</p><p>17. Complete other duties as assigned</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Education and Experience</p><p>1.High school diploma or equivalent&nbsp;</p><p>2. Must have 1 &ndash; 3 years of nursing experience.</p><p>3. Completion of accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required&nbsp;</p><p>4. Current Florida License, active and in good standing&nbsp;</p><p>5. Current CPR certification</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p><p>1.Understand and strive to maintain teamwork&nbsp;</p><p>2. Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare teams&nbsp;</p><p>3. Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail&nbsp;</p><p>4.
