    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ARBORIST</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arborist and tree care work scopes in and around the Edmonton area,</li>\n<li>Experience pruning trees for the City of Edmonton is an asset</li>\n<li>ISA certified is an asset.</li>\n<li>Plan and construct landscaped environments including trees, shrubs, lawns and other landscape structures,</li>\n<li>Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems / disease,</li>\n<li>Use of chainsaws and other powered hand tools,</li>\n<li>Pruning and shaping trees,</li>\n<li>Chipping branches,</li>\n<li>Grinding tree stumps,</li>\n<li>Assisting with tree felling,</li>\n<li>Assisting with ropes and rigging,</li>\n<li>Aerial lift operation,</li>\n<li>Operating chainsaws and other tree felling equipment,</li>\n<li>Delimbing and bucking trees,</li>\n<li>Climbing trees,</li>\n<li>Survey and assess designated sites,</li>\n<li>Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease,</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br>Operation of leaf blower and debris removal equipment,</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow all OH&amp;S, municipal and traffic legislation and,</li>\n<li>Operate according to the company’s safety standards,</li>\n<li>Dependable Team player,</li>\n<li>Physically fit and able to lift moderate weight (30 – 50 lbs),<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Terms of employment:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Benefits package offered: Medical extended benefits after 3 months, company will pay 50%,</li>\n<li>Location(s) of work: Same as business location and various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas,</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills / Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of experience as an Arborist.</li>\n<li>CSTS 2020</li>\n<li>Leadership for Safety Excellence training (is an asset); Valid Driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract.</li>\n<li>Able to successfully complete a drug &amp; alcohol pre-screening and criminal record check.</li>\n<li>Ability to work long hours (10 – 12 hours per day).</li>\n<li>Must be able to work in varied and extreme (hot) weather conditions; Physically and capable of lifting +50lbs.</li>\n<li>Strong work ethic; Safety conscious.</li>\n<li>Must be able to legally work in Canada</li>\n</ul>",
