    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Acuren is in search of an experienced Structural Steel Welding and Bolting Inspector primarily working out of our St. Louis Park, MN office. We are looking for an individual who can work independently and confidently provide inspections in fabrication shops as well as construction sites to ensure conformance to the applicable codes and project specifications.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment</li>\n <li>Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection</li>\n <li>Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations</li>\n <li>Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results</li>\n <li>Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators</li>\n <li>Organize and report test results</li>\n <li>Perform specialized inspections</li>\n <li>May instruct and supervise others</li>\n <li>Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Some college preferred</li>\n <li>Must have a current ICC Specialist Inspector Certification for Structural Steel, Welding and Bolting</li>\n <li>Must have a current AWS/CWI </li>\n <li>Must have 5 years of relevant experience of a technical background in NDT methods and procedures</li>\n <li>Certified Level II; must have proof of NDT training and experience in MT, PT, UT in accordance with ASNT-1A to be able to be company certified</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NDT equipment</li>\n <li>Experience in report writing</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance</li>\n <li>401K Plan</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>Pay Transparency: As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $20.66 - $34.44/hr depending on experience and applicable certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Acuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
