We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math Interventionist to join our educational team. The Math Interventionist will be responsible for providing targeted math instruction to K-8 students who require additional support to meet grade-level expectations. This role involves collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success in mathematics. Friendship is looking for responsible, confident, respectful, caring, committed, persistent, and patient professionals to join our family for the 2026-2027 school year starting in August 2026. Responsibilities Provide individual and small group math instruction to students identified as needing intervention. Develop and implement effective math intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of each student. Use data-driven assessment tools to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate intervention strategies into the regular classroom setting. Assist in the development and implementation of math curriculum and instructional materials that support diverse learning styles and abilities. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math instruction and intervention. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement. Qualifications Experience in the role preferred Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. Valid teaching certification/license for the appropriate grade levels. Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a K-8 setting. Strong knowledge of math intervention strategies and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents. Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance math instruction. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. Training or certification in math intervention programs or strategies. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
