This position works under the supervision of the Area Manager of WaterHub&reg; Operations and will oversee the administration, operation, and maintenance of the WaterHub&reg; water reuse project. &nbsp;The Manager will manage and be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of various pumps, motors, and piping, as well as the plant&rsquo;s process equipment such as membrane bioreactors (MBRs), reverse osmosis (RO), rotary screens, blowers, hydroponic reactors, and ultraviolet disinfection. This position will include plant supervision, performing short and long-range planning, plant budgets and monthly reports. Duties will also include managing capital improvement projects. &nbsp;You will help ensure that the plant is adequately staffed with qualified personnel to achieve the group&#39;s targets and production objectives. &nbsp;The facility is new, highly automated, and highly complex. &nbsp;You will manage the project to continue and enhance H<sub><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 176, 216);\"><strong>2</strong></span></sub>O Innovation&rsquo;s goals within their decentralized water reuse projects.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 176, 216);\">The Benefits</span></strong></p><p><em>Overall remuneration including:</em></p><ul><li>Yearly bonus;</li><li>Health Insurance, Dental, Vision &amp; Telemedicine</li><li>Health Savings Account</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>401K plan with employer&#39;s contribution;</li><li>Paid Vacation &amp; Sick Days</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 176, 216);\">The Day-to-Day</span></strong></p><ul><li>Plan, organize, supervise, and schedule resources to meet program and production goals;</li><li>Analyze, develop, revise, and improve scheduling, standards, and procurement methods;</li><li>Conduct studies, analyze data, and prepare reports of findings and recommendations;</li><li>Formulate and administer budgets;</li><li>Develop work-related Standard Operating &nbsp;Procedures (SOPs);</li><li>Modify work assignments of employees in accordance with plant needs;</li><li>Formulate, interpret, enforce, and apply policies and regulatory requirements controlling plant processes;</li><li>Recommend staffing levels and equipment purchase and replacement.</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills;</li><li>Develop plant-specific safety programs;</li><li>Advise and consult with direct reports on policy-level and technical aspects of assigned agenda;</li><li>Facilitate staff meetings and attend appropriate meetings;</li><li>Develop and implement emergency management guidelines to effectively deal with WWT problems, power outages, flooding, and other factors that could impact public health, safety and or environmental quality;</li><li>On-call for afterhours, remote response to process alarms;</li><li>Coordinate plant safety and security needs;</li><li>Assist with the coordination of Capital Improvement Projects to upgrade and/or expand plant facilities;</li><li>Conduct specialized tours for visitors and VIP&rsquo;s of our unique plant;</li><li>Maintain excellent working relationships with host site personnel;</li><li>Frequent public contact by telephone and in person;</li><li>Frequent participation in meetings;</li><li>Hands-on operations and maintenance (working manager);</li><li>Vendor contact and interaction.</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 176, 216);\">The Skills We Are Looking for</span></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors in Environmental Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or related degree preferred;</li><li>Heavy background in maintenance of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment (i.e.: control panels, MBRs, PLCs, VFDs, submersible pumps, lift systems, equipment rigging, &nbsp;motor and bearing replacement, etc.);</li><li>Certification Desired: State of Texas, Class 1/A Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator license or another state&rsquo;s equivalent, or ability to gain licensing as required by the regulatory authority;</li><li>Five plus years supervising personnel in management, operations, or maintenance of an advanced wastewater treatment plant;</li><li>Computer and office equipment skills;&nbsp;</li><li>Public relations and customer service skills;</li><li>Verbal and written skills, including report writing;</li><li>Accounting, budgeting, and record-keeping skills;</li><li>Knowledge of management and leadership principles, organization, and work scheduling;</li><li>Knowledge of principles, practices, equipment, materials, and standards involved in the operations, maintenance, and management of wastewater treatment (WWT) systems;</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license and acceptable motor vehicle record;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to assume responsibility;</li><li>Requires expert level mechanical/electrical skills;</li><li>Must possess the ability to read and interpret maps, blueprints, schematics, and O&amp;M manuals, etc;</li><li>Must be versed in verbal and written communication skills to convey information to co-workers, equipment vendors, consultants, contractors, and the general public;</li><li>Ability to operate motor vehicles;</li><li>The ability to assist in the start-up and commissioning of new facilities;</li><li>Knowledge of laboratory best practices and safety procedures.<br><br><img src=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/cccustom/Client/Recruitment/growwithh2o_e3d8d17d-0f56-4588-9071-480fdb557c7e.png\" style=\"width: 233px;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib\"><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">#PMUSA (O&amp;M)&nbsp;</span></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
