Implements business practices in order to uphold hospital mission and values.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>A day in the life of a Registered Dietitian at Hackensack Meridian <em>Health </em>includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directs dietary care of patients with basic nutrition needs including screening, assessment and care planning to ensure patient dietary needs and patient satisfaction levels are met.</li>\n <li>Educates medical staff and counsels` patients and their families on proper nutritional care.</li>\n <li>Manages and promotes food and nutrition programs according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards and policies.</li>\n <li> Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, nutrition care, special diets and menu requests.</li>\n <li>Stays current with most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications and standards of practice.</li>\n <li>Probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Hackensack Meridian Health policies and procedures (e.g. HIPAA/Privacy Act, quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel).</li>\n <li>Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments.</li>\n <li> Other duties and/or projects as assigned. </li>\n <li>Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree.</li>\n <li> Entry level experience.</li>\n <li>PC skills and its applicable applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Acute care clinical or related experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Licenses and Certifications Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered Dietitian Nutritionist within 60 days of entering position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you feel that the above description speaks directly to your strengths and capabilities, then please apply today!</p>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>Minimum rate of $69,534.40 Annually\n<h2>Job Posting Disclosure</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
