We support a healthy work-life balance and recognize the importance of time outside of work commitments. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Overview & Position Summary</strong></em></p>\n<p>This position supports advanced drafting and documentation needs for architectural design and product development, working independently under limited supervision to deliver high-quality drawings and technical details. This role prepares, reviews, and refines complex plans and construction documents, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and alignment with organizational standards. It collaborates with cross-functional teams, resolves difficult drafting challenges, and contributes expertise to maintain consistency and efficiency across projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Primary Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Produce and refine complex architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and technical details</li>\n <li>Review construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with design intent, standards, and code requirements</li>\n <li> Resolve difficult drafting issues by applying prior experience, analytical thinking, and knowledge of related job areas</li>\n <li>Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and internal partners to clarify design requirements and ensure coordinated documentation</li>\n <li>Lead updates to plans and documentation based on field feedback, operational needs, and design revisions</li>\n <li>Maintain and enhance drafting standards, templates, and documentation practices</li>\n <li>Support cross-functional collaboration by providing expertise on technical drawing requirements and best practices</li>\n <li>Recommend improvements to drafting workflows, tools, and quality control processes</li>\n <li>Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees within the drafting job area</li>\n <li>Assist in managing documentation systems, version control, and file organization to support efficient project execution</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Education & Experience</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3-5 years of Revit experience</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in drafting, architecture, design, or a related field</li>\n <li>Experience producing and coordinating complex architectural drawings</li>\n <li>Experience working independently on advanced drafting assignments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with how to create and manage Revit Design Options</li>\n <li>Additional experience drafting for residential, homebuilding, or construction projects</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of architectural documentation standards and drafting workflows</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Broad knowledge of drafting standards, architectural principles, and construction documentation</li>\n <li>Strong ability to work independently and manage complex drafting tasks with limited supervision</li>\n <li>Advanced problem-solving skills for addressing issues that span multiple job areas or specialties</li>\n <li>Effective communication and influencing skills within and outside the drafting sub-function</li>\n <li>Proficiency with drafting software, digital documentation systems, and plan management tools</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet project deadlines</li>\n <li>Skill in coaching, guiding, and training other drafting team members</li>\n <li>Ability to contribute to process improvements and documentation standardization</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Working Conditions</strong></em></p>\n<p>Work is primarily performed in a general office environment with periodic visits to construction sites or model homes.
