At our inpatient facility in Canton, South Dakota, just 30 minutes from Sioux Falls, we treat adolescents and adults age 19 and older of all genders who are struggling with addictions to alcohol and other drugs. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Purpose Statement: </strong></p>\n<p>Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice, as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Join a team with defined career paths and a national family of hospitals and facilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SHIFTS AND HOURS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>We have a full-time day position available. </li>\n <li>Scheduled Shifts are 8 Hours </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct group and/or family sessions, under supervision, as scheduled and documents as required.</li>\n <li>Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.</li>\n <li>May be responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessments for patients.</li>\n <li>May prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned patient.</li>\n <li>Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.</li>\n <li>May act as a liaison between referral sources and patients.</li>\n <li>Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.</li>\n <li>May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.</li>\n <li>May act as a liaison with insurance carriers, as requested.</li>\n <li>May provide case management duties for patients, ensuring individualized quality care.</li>\n <li>Evaluate the need of the patient and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities is needed.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<p>· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>- </strong>ACT Preferred</p>\n<p>· High School diploma or equivalent required.
