At Hardware &amp; General, you’ll be part of a trusted supplier known for technical expertise, strong industry knowledge, and exceptional customer service across a wide range of building products.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Be Doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operating MiTek 20/20 Frame &amp; Truss design software</li>\n<li>Reviewing plans, bills of quantities, and project documentation</li>\n<li>Preparing accurate quotes and cost estimates</li>\n<li>Managing and tracking the quoting process via a Quote Register</li>\n<li>Liaising with customers regarding estimates and project requirements</li>\n<li>Assisting with site measures when required</li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with pricing procedures and margin expectations</li>\n<li>Monitoring plans through to production for accuracy and structural integrity</li>\n<li>Maintaining strong communication with detailers, suppliers, and sales teams</li>\n<li>Supporting continuous improvement of estimating and quoting processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in detailing or estimating (essential)</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of residential timber construction (preferred)</li>\n<li>Experience with MiTek 20/20 or similar design software</li>\n<li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail</li>\n<li>Advanced computer skills including Excel</li>\n<li>Strong communication and customer service ability</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and within a team</li>\n<li>Trade qualification in timber systems or similar experience highly regarded</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Get:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stable, long-term role with a respected family business</li>\n<li>Exposure to industry-leading design and estimating systems</li>\n<li>Supportive, experienced team environment</li>\n<li>Career development opportunities across multiple Sydney locations</li>\n<li>A business that values technical expertise and accuracy</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">If you want a role where you can build a career (not just a job), we’d love to hear from you.</span></p>",
