When a party departs, a busser removes dirty dishes, sanitizes the table, cleans the seats and tidies up the surrounding floor/table area.</p><p><u>Responsibilities</u></p><ul><li>Remove used/unnecessary plates while guests are still seated at the table</li><li>Remove extra place settings at the table or provide any additional settings as needed</li><li>Prepare tables for the next round of service by removing all plates and glasses</li><li>Sanitize the table and surrounding area for its next turn</li><li>Reset place settings: complete with silverware, water glasses, and bread plate, etc.</li><li>Restock and assist with maintenance of expo/servers' stations, glass washing area, etc.</li><li>Empty trash containers and dirty dish receptacles</li><li>Assist with refilling ice for bar service station</li></ul><p><u>Skills</u></p><ul><li>Strong customer service skills and pleasant rapport with dining guests</li><li>Solid communication skills</li><li>Good sense of menu items</li></ul><p><u>Working Conditions</u></p><ul><li>Be able to walk, stand, bend, twist, move around for the entire duration of the scheduled shift</li><li>Be able to lift or carry up to 15 lbs.</li></ul><p><u>Education/Experience</u></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred</li><li>Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required</li></ul>",
