See the following link for more information: https://info.flclearinghouse.com</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our Communities Connected for Kids Program provides services for children and families in the child welfare system, to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment. Based out of Port Saint Lucie, FL, this position is responsible for training new and existing employees with both pre-service and in-service training programs.  Additional essential functions of the position include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitate orientation for new staff.</li>\n <li>Facitilitate pre-service training for case managers and other trainees.</li>\n <li>Facilitate in-service training.</li>\n <li>Provide coaching and mentoring to assist in the transfer of learning from the classroom to the field.</li>\n <li>Provide support with case plan development, judicial reviews, court related functions, staffing preparation and field activities.</li>\n <li>Facilitate learning circles/case work practice to assist staff develop knowledge and skills with the Florida Practice Model.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development of structured field days during training.</li>\n <li>Support child welfare staff in obtaining Child Welfare Certification through participation in individual, group, and field observations as required by the Florida Certification Board.</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of new laws, rules, policies, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Participate in training workgroup committees and planning meetings.</li>\n <li>Ensure all training is documented in the DCF My FL Learn database.</li>\n <li>Participate in the accreditation process.</li>\n <li>Participate in the quality improvement process.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain positive relationships with CCKids staff and customers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#sponsored</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Required:   Bachelors degree from an accredited university in social work, human services, or a similarly related field.</p>\n<p>Preferred:  Master's degree from an accredited university in social work, human services, or a similarly related field.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Required:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five or more years previous experience working in the child welfare field.  Two or more years experience developing or facilitating training.</li>\n <li>Certification as a Child Welfare Professional with the Florida Certification Board (FCB).</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain Certification as a Child Welfare Trainer within twelve (12) months from hire date.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Additional Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong passion for training new staff and helping improve overall job performance.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.</li>\n <li>Excellent public speaking skills.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, and the Internet.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>About Communities Connected for Kids</strong></p>\n<p>Communities Connected for Kids provides oversight and coordination of the child-welfare system in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties.
