If you’re someone who values professionalism, takes pride in your work, and wants to be part of a supportive and respectful team, we’d love to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB HIGHLIGHT</span><br></p>\n<p>ABFS is looking for a Licensed Building Engineer to operate and maintain commercial buildings in Florham Park. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES   </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.</li>\n<li>Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance.</li>\n<li>Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.</li>\n<li>Typically supports properties of more than 200,000 sqft.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.</li>\n<li>Completes assigned work orders via our CMMS ticketing system</li>\n<li>Consults with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.</li>\n<li>Monitors building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.</li>\n<li>Oversees and inspects the work performed by subcontractors. Determines that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition.</li>\n<li>Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS   </span><br></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE   </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of five years related experience and/or trade school training.
