    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Planner / Buyer</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a full-time Planner/Buyer to work in our Plano, TX office. &nbsp;The Planner/Buyer will manage the planning and procurement of goods, services and</span><span>&nbsp;</span><span>assigned commodities for this global technology leader in warehouse automation, high-speed mailroom automation, document imaging, and material handling.</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Job Description</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Sourcing, planning, negotiating, and placing purchase orders for materials, equipment, and&nbsp;</span><span>services in support of production operations located in Moorestown NJ and Plano TX</span></li>\n <li><span>Implement and maintain commodity management strategy in support of the company’s supply chain goals</span></li>\n <li><span>Utilize Oracle ERP system to plan requirements, issue purchase orders, identify scheduling problems, and maintain data integrity</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage supplier performance to cost, delivery, and quality requirements</span></li>\n <li><span>Analyze data related to inventories, optimal order quantities, and lead times to best align supply with demand</span></li>\n <li><span>Interface with internal customers and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered in accordance with all scheduling, specification, and quality requirements</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitor purchasing activities to be in compliance with OPEX business needs, including incoming quality, supplier on time delivery, RFQ’s, and purchase orders</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Job Requirements</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Commodity management experience, preferably in metals &amp; fabrication, mechanical assemblies of electronic/electrical components</span></li>\n <li><span>Prefer minimum 5 years in Procurement/Planning/Supply Chain/Materials</span></li>\n <li><span>Professional certification a plus; APICS CPIM or CSCP</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong knowledge working with an ERP planning system, Oracle experience a plus</span></li>\n <li><span>Working knowledge of MS Office</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Physical/Work Environments</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Employee will primarily be working in an office environment with occasional travel to warehouse and/or customer sites for observation / research</span></li>\n <li><span>Sitting and standing for an extended period</span></li>\n <li><span>Some walking and/or driving between local facilities; occasional air travel may be required</span></li>\n</ul>",
