widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>Assist in microbial challenge testing of new products to determine adequacy of preservation.</li><li>Bioburden panel testing, water testing, environmental testing (ie air plates, swabs, conductivity)</li><li>Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload.</li><li>Inventory and report expendable supplies/materials needed for testing requirements</li><li>Provide routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning, sanitizing, and trash disposal</li><li>Perform quality control monitoring by taking incubator temperatures, inoculating control organisms, running media controls, etc.</li><li>Maintain laboratory condition, to include equipment, supplies</li><li>Perform all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner</li><li>Prepare media for microbial quality and preservative adequacy testing.</li><li>Document media preparation and media control information in appropriate logbooks.</li><li>Maintain appropriate notebooks and computer logs required for the department.</li><li>Organize the destruction of product discards and assist with special projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Share information in an open, and timely manner with Supervisor</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>BS degree in microbiology or related field with 2-3 years of lab experience.</li><li>At minimum, 1 or more years of Quality Assurance or Microbiological testing experience in the cosmetic, nutritional, or pharmaceutical industries</li><li>Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Able to adapt to changes to improve company processes.</li><li>Able to carry up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Able to stand and sit for long periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to rotate one weekend day.</li></ul><p style=\"font-size: 14px;
