          "text": "<p>The HSE Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. The incumbent is required to be well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibit high multitasking and organizational abilities.&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><em>The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. DVM retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant.</em>&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Incident Management &amp; Prevention </strong></p><ul><li>Leading and supporting the reporting, investigation, and prevention of incidents.</li><li>Responding to injuries and near misses</li><li>Conducting root cause analysis</li><li>Tracking corrective actions</li><li>Sharing lessons learned</li><li>Monitoring TRIR, DART, and other KPIs</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Support employee awareness, participation, and safe behaviors. </strong></p><ul><li>Delivering safety training</li><li>Leading toolbox talks</li><li>Coaching supervisors</li><li>Reinforcing stop work authority</li><li>Encouraging hazard reporting</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Risk Identification &amp; Control Implementation </strong></p><ul><li>Identify workplace hazards and ensure effective controls are implemented and maintained.</li><li>Conducting risk assessments and job hazard analyses</li><li>Performing inspections and audits</li><li>Supporting LOTO, MHE, fall protection, electrical safety, etc.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards</li><li>Recommending corrective actions</li></ul><p><em>Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.</em></p>",
