    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>POSITION TITLE:</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Plant Custodian</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>The Plant Custodian cleans and maintains appearance of the plant and parking lots at both Large and Small Batch manufacturing sites and parking lots.&nbsp; The position reports directly to the Director of EHS.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all plant safety rules and practices.&nbsp; Must be willing to perform janitorial and other manual tasks throughout the plant.&nbsp;Good time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have regular and predictable attendance.&nbsp; Must have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions from plant supervision and efficiently and effectively perform tasks.&nbsp; Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of all buildings.</span></li>\n <li><span>Performs cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms and breakrooms.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures cleanliness of all breakrooms, meeting rooms and other areas of the plant as assigned.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ closet; ensures cleaning supplies are stocked.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintains the cleanliness of the outside of all buildings by picking up trash and debris and disposing of properly per safety policy.</span></li>\n <li><span>Use Wet Floor Signs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Take all trash out of plant.</span></li>\n <li><span>Turn in job assignment sheet daily.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must properly wear personal protective equipment as required for the task being performed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Follow all departmental and plant safety rules and requirements.</span></li>\n <li><span>Report any unsafe condition to your manager immediately.</span></li>\n <li><span>Performs other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span><strong>RECOMMENDED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>High school diploma or equivalent required.&nbsp; Must pass a drug screen and background check.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Travel is not required for this position.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Work is carried out in a Production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to dust, fumes, and noise with safety procedures in place for protection. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment including, but not limited to, eye protection, ear protection, dust mask, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and a hard hat.&nbsp; This position works in an environment in which safety, environmental, and health concerns will demand constant attention. Strict adherence to safety policies is a requirement of employment.
