    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.14.30/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.14.30/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for conducting the daily classroom program to meet the individual needs of each child in the school. &nbsp;Teachers create lesson plans and teach those plans to the entire class, individually to students or in small groups, track student progress and present the information to parents, create tests, create and reinforce classroom rules, work with school administration prepare students for standardized tests, and manage students outside the classroom, such as in school hallways, detention, etc.</p><p>Monitor and takes responsibility for classified personnel and volunteers working with students. Promotes parental and community involvement &amp; conducts parent conferences. Participates in all components and areas as specified by the Soboba Tribal performance standards. Under direct supervision of the Preschool Director, the Kindergarten Teacher will participate in the planning and operation of the Preschool Program.</p><p><strong><u>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><p>Although other duties may be assigned, the essential duties include the following:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Establish and maintain effective relationships with adults and children.</li><li>Work with individual and small groups of children.</li><li>Maintain acceptable standards of behavior among students at all times.</li><li>Plan and organize to meet fixed schedules.</li><li>Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.</li><li>Work cooperatively with those contacted in the course of work.</li><li>Maintains clean and organized work environment.</li><li>Plan, evaluate, and assign lessons.</li><li>Teach letter recognition, phonics, numbers, and awareness of nature and science in accordance with the California Common Core standards.</li><li>Prepare, administer, and grade tests, listen to oral presentations, and maintain classroom discipline.</li><li>Introduce children to mathematics, language, science, and social studies in accordance with the California Common Core standards.</li><li>Use games, music, artwork, films, books, computers, and other tools to teach basic skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Use play and hands-on teaching.</li><li>Grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.</li><li>Create projects designed to enhance lectures.</li><li>Stay current on topics in education.</li><li>Develop lesson plans.</li><li>Utilize various curriculum resources.</li><li>Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.</li><li>Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.</li><li>Develop incentives to keep participants engaged in classroom activities.</li><li>Develop professional relationships with other agencies and programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize public library resources.</li><li>Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met.</li><li>Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.</li><li>Prepare and distribute required reports.</li><li>Observe and evaluate student&#39;s performance.</li><li>Ability to communicate with parents and/or guardians regarding children&rsquo;s progress</li></ul><p><strong><u>EDUCATION</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Education required</li><li>Teaching credential preferred</li><li>First Aide Certification</li></ul><p><strong><u>EXPERIENCE</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>1-2 years&rsquo; experience working with children in an educational setting</li></ul><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><p>&nbsp;Ability to take delegation of work assignments and to follow direction and works well with others.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide superior customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure conditions</li><li>Relate incidents to director of staff, parents or community concerns</li><li>Understanding the Indian cultural and community</li><li>Meet the general needs and behaviors of the Indian children served</li><li>Use correct English, grammar, spelling, punctuations and basic mathematics</li><li>Basic safety rules, habits and principles of first aid</li><li>Physical stamina is necessary for dealing with children and may require standing for several hours at a time</li><li>The operation of standard office equipment&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>REQUIRED</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>T.B.
