    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">HeplerBroom LLC, a large defense firm, is currently seeking a licensed Associate Attorney with 2+&nbsp;<strong>years experience in Professional Liability.&nbsp;</strong>The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in Medical and Dental Malpractice and long term care defense<strong>.&nbsp;</strong>The position will be in our Chicago, Illinois office. &nbsp;This associate will handle matters in primarily in Cook but also in DuPage and other collar counties. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Conduct thorough research, analysis, and interpretation of legal sources, including statutes, regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions.</li><li>Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution.</li><li>Monitor case files to ensure compliance with deadlines, and investigate facts and legal issues to develop appropriate defenses and strategies.</li><li>Assist with document review and analysis.</li><li>Conduct depositions and appear regularly in court.</li><li>Support trial preparation and participate in the trial of professional liability cases.</li><li>Adhere to and follow client guidelines meticulously.</li><li>Communicate effectively and report appropriately to clients.</li></ul><p><strong>This position requires:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Good standing with the Illinois bar</li><li>Strong organization and communication skills, both verbal and written&nbsp;</li><li>Strong research and analytical skills&nbsp;</li><li>Deposition experience preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Why HeplerBroom?</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Competitive Compensation</strong>: Associate attorney eligible <u>total</u> compensation ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with the potential for annual performance-based raises and discretionary bonuses.
