Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.</em></p>\n<p><em>If you are viewing this posting on a job site, please visit our company page and search for the opportunity to view the pay range: https://careers-mycmh.icims.com/jobs</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Overview: </strong></p>\n<p>The Environmental Services(EVS) Tech I maintains a clean, sanitary and safe environment in all areas of the hospital in accordance with Community Memorial Healthcare quality standards, as well as local, state and federal regulations.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>***EVS TECH I COVID-19 JOB RESPONSIBILITY NOTICE***</strong> </p>\n<p><strong>An essential daily job responsibility of an EVS Tech I is cleaning patient rooms throughout the hospital, including the possibility of cleaning COVID-19 patient rooms and/or having contact with COVID-19.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As Community Memorial Healthcare takes employee health and safety seriously, the EVS Department provides Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (masks, gloves, etc.), along with education and training for all EVS Techs to help keep hospital employees, patients, and the community safe.</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow written and oral directions in English </li>\n <li>Ability to understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS), pertaining to the use and handling of chemicals</li>\n <li>Ability to interact with patents, customers, co-workers and physicians in a courteous and service-oriented manner</li>\n <li>Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED)</li>\n <li>Previous housekeeping, janitorial or related experience</li>\n <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>**APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A RESUME WITH PREVIOUS WORK HISTORY OR COMPLETE THE EMPLOYMENT HISTORY SECTION ON THE APPLICATION IN ORDER TO BE FURTHER CONSIDERED.**</strong></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Nationally Recognized.
