Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance, safety.</p><p>2. Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, progress reports, and other such reports.</p><p>3. Performs radiographic examinations.</p><p>4. Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis.</p><p>5. Checks images including evaluating film for technical quality.</p><p>6. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; notifies supervisor of major malfunctions in a timely manner.</p><p>7. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.</p><p>8. Transports patients to radiographic room; prepares and maintains room.</p><p>9. Requests and orders supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at all times.</p><p>10. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, and workshops.</p><p>11. Attends meetings as required.</p><p>12. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><p>EDUCATION: Graduate of AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology.</p><p>LICENSE: N/A</p><p>CREDENTIALS: Must be registered or registry eligible by the ARRT.</p><p>EXPERIENCE: New graduates of an approved school accepted.</p><p>SPECIAL:</p><p>PATIENT CONTACT: Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.</p><p>ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE: Will be exposed to X-ray Radiation on a daily basis.</p><p>Will be exposed to developer and fixer fumes while mixing developer &amp; fixer on a daily basis.</p><p>MACHINE OPERATION: Portable X-ray units, Radiographic/Fluoroscopic Units.</p><p>PHYSICAL:</p><p>STANDING: Majority of shift spent standing.</p><p>WALKING: Considerable amount of time spent walking.</p><p>LIFTING: Must use good body mechanics to independently lift or in certain situations, assist with lifting/transferring patients of all weight ranges.</p><p>VISUAL: Must have ability to read physicians orders and observe patients; utilize inspection skills for evaluating exposed radiographs; must be able to read patient&#39;s ID bands.</p><p>HEARING: Must be able to receive/comprehend telephone calls; must be able to hear normal conversation to communicate with patients.</p><p>SPEAKING: Must have clear speech to communicate with nursing, physicians, other health care workers, all fellow employees, patients and their families and visitors.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>PRN",
