Transportation projects are essential to building strong communities. From reducing traffic congestion and improving public safety to supporting access to healthcare, education, and employment, these projects create smoother, more reliable travel for all users, including drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join us to lead impactful projects that connect neighborhoods, promote economic growth, and create infrastructure that benefits everyone.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the Lead Roadway Engineer on ODOT and Local transportation projects</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project team members</li>\n <li>Review roadway and other highway related designs, including Maintenance of Traffic plans (if interested and qualified)</li>\n <li>Mentor junior engineering staff</li>\n <li>Develop cost proposals</li>\n <li>Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages</li>\n <li>Prepare reports required by the project development process</li>\n <li>Advance into project management (if desired)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll bring to our firm:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required</li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio or the ability to become registered in 6-12 months</li>\n <li>Minimum of 12 years of related highway design experience</li>\n <li>Familiarity with AASHTO and OMUTCD standards</li>\n <li>Prior design experience with Ohio Department of Transportation and/or Ohio Local projects</li>\n <li>Hands on experience using CADD/Design Software (preferably OpenRoads) required</li>\n <li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>The salary range for this role is <strong>$130,000 - $170,000</strong>.
