You will be a competent individual with an ability to complete design tasks pertinent to the position, completing challenges both individually and as part of a design team, working in collaboration with other team members and colleagues.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities</b>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>All tasks are carried out in accordance with Engineering group policies under the leadership of the Principal Engineer and Product Line Director</li>\n <li>As part of this team you support local operations and departments as necessary to facilitate the smooth running of the business</li>\n <li>Propose solutions to design problems in assigned projects</li>\n <li>Ensure all deliverables are technically in accordance with client requirements</li>\n <li>Ensure timely and thorough review of client specifications and communication of findings</li>\n <li>Prepare engineering documents (such as drawings, technical illustrations, manuals, reports and calculations) and basic layouts for designs, or parts of design, ensuring they are completed within the required timescales</li>\n <li>Support small to medium sized projects as assigned by the Principal Engineer with some supervision</li>\n <li>Participate in test programs and factory acceptance tests to validate designs</li>\n <li>Report any design changes which may have a cost or schedule impact to the relevant Product Line manufacturing personnel</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in client meetings always ensuring customer care is at the foremost position</li>\n <li>Contribute to the investigation, resolution and documentation of engineering queries in a timely and technically acceptable fashion</li>\n <li>Liaise with clients and suppliers as required and provide engineering support to all NOV Elmar group companies as required.</li>\n <li>Remain aware and involved in the latest developments within the industry and the greater engineering world to identify any potential concepts that could be incorporated into new designs</li>\n <li>Gain familiarity with all company relevant technologies</li>\n <li>Travel as and when required in order to support business</li>\n <li>Carry out any other reasonable duties when requested by a line manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3-6 Years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>BTech/MTech Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Understanding of and working knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor, Lascom, Mathcad, Ansys &amp; FS2000.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge within a manufacturing environment and within the Energy Industry, specifically with Wireline Systems.</li>\n <li>Awareness of ISO9001 and API Q1.</li>\n <li>Relevant experience within Oil and Gas</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic or electro mechanical system design</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of wireline winches and associated product designs, particularly K-Winch products</li>\n <li>Design codes:&nbsp; API 6A, 5CT, 16A, 17 and others, NACE, EC Directives and CE Marking, ASME, ATEX, Norsok, EN12079/DNV2.7-1, Puwer and Loler.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge in structural and stress analysis; calculation by hand, knowledge of design codes including, EC Directives and CE Marking, ASME, ATEX, Norsok, EN12079/DNV2.7-1, Puwer and Loler.</li>\n <li><span>Experience in high pressure systems, valves and flowline equipment.</span></li>\n <li>Experience in <span>metallic and non-metallic materials for well service and drilling applications.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li>Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).</li>\n</ul>",
