This role leads and develops the Major Gifts Team while personally managing and cultivating a select portfolio of major donor and foundation relationships, ensuring disciplined portfolio management, effective donor engagement strategies, and strong alignment between ministry priorities and philanthropic opportunities.</p>Working closely with the Chief of Staff and the President/CEO, the Senior Director of Major and Institutional Giving cultivates meaningful and long-term partnerships with donors and foundations while equipping gift officers to build strong, mission-aligned relationships that advance the ministry of Every Home for Christ. This role works in close collaboration with the organization&rsquo;s broader fundraising and marketing teams to ensure strong alignment between relational donor engagement and programmatic fundraising efforts across the ministry.<div><div class=\"fr-view\"><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><strong>Spiritual Leadership&nbsp;</strong><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.3in;\"><li>Maintains a personal and actively growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ.&nbsp;</li><li>Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ&rsquo;s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ&rsquo;s Covenant of Harmony and upholds Every Home for Christ&rsquo;s ministry in prayer.</li><li>Participates in our Christ-centered community through working in the HQ office and actively demonstrate and lead Every Home cultural values.</li><li>Responsible for providing discipleship, prayer, and spiritual guidance, in alignment with Every Home for Christ values, to fundraising partners through their journey in understanding the Great Commission and the part they play</li><li>Convey Every Home for Christ&rsquo;s religious message and beliefs, including the Every Home for Christ Mission, Vision, and Founding Principles, to partners, major donors, and the community; communicating a biblical vision of stewardship and generosity.</li><li>Uphold and communicate Every Home for Christ Mission, Vision, and Founding Principles.</li><li>Lead prayer/devotionals/church services on a regular basis for various partners, individual donors, partner churches and ministries located domestically and internationally</li><li>Adheres to and leads through the principles outlined in Every Home for Christ&rsquo;s Fundraising as a Ministry foundational framework.</li><li>Constantly display a passion for the mission of Every Home as well as our faith values to all donors and prospects</li><li>Maintain in-depth knowledge of Every Home for Christ global strategies, projects, etc that are fundraising priorities and works in successful collaboration and inclusion of all other departments</li><li>Represents the mission, religious beliefs, and values of Every Home for Christ in all interactions with current and prospective donors or external relationships.</li><li>Demonstrate personal integrity and generosity in engaging with the mission of the ministry.</li><li>Follows the spiritual requirements, disciplines, and biblical moral conduct necessary for a minister of the Gospel with Every Home for Christ.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Major Gifts Team Leadership</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.3in;\"><li>Provides leadership, planning and consultation to subordinates, executives, and peer management in the successful alignment of assigned department resources to ensure achievement of operational priorities and initiatives, integrating priorities within organizational strategies to ensure that department&#39;s purpose is fulfilled.</li><li>Contributes to and adheres to the annual budget and departmental expenses, ensuring accountability for on-time completion of deliverables based on department objectives, and other Every Home standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ministry policies.</li><li>Selects, manages and develops assigned staff, establishing goals and objectives, coaching and managing performance, including discipline, motivation, and regular reviews; supports continuous learning and development that enhances individual performance and organizational capability.</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop the Major Gifts Team, equipping gift officers to effectively manage and grow donor portfolios through cultivating meaningful, long-term partnerships with major donors.</li><li>Lead the Major Gifts Team through the implementation and execution of established fundraising strategies, donor engagement standards, and moves management practices in alignment with organizational priorities and executive leadership direction.</li><li>Establish and communicate clear expectations, performance metrics, and accountability systems to ensure disciplined portfolio management and consistent donor engagement practices across the team.</li><li>Foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture within the Major Gifts Team that emphasizes relational stewardship and long-term partnership with donors through spiritual leadership, care for&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate closely with fundraising and marketing leaders to ensure strong coordination between relational fundraising strategies and broader donor engagement efforts across the organization</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Major Donor Strategy and Portfolio Oversight</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.3in;\"><li>Lead the development and execution of strategy for major donor engagement, in partnership with executive leadership, ensuring thoughtful cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship practices across the team.</li><li>Direct and guide the development of donor strategies and engagement plans that align donor passions with ministry priorities.</li><li>Lead disciplined moves management and portfolio development across the Major Gifts Team.</li><li>Establishes strategic goals for fundraising growth; Master&#39;s Degree is preferred</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 8+ years of experience in successful nonprofit fundraising, philanthropy, or development AND 5+ years of successful formal team leadership</li><li data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Certifications/Licensing:&nbsp;</strong>biblical/spiritual leadership background;
