We offer company events, activities, and opportunities to participate in charitable initiatives that benefit the communities where we work.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><a href=\"https://www.sms-group.us/\" target=\"_blank\">www.sms-group.us</a></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What you&#39;ll do&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: square;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">In conjunction with the General Manager, Centers of competence, Engineering Department and Automation Department determines which references will be used to develop the scope of supply and estimate.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Management of proposal writing and editing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manages sales calls and attends sales functions, as required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Management of layout and engineering work for proposal preparation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Project coordination with team members in the proposal stage</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordination and alignment of proposals with SMS servicing organization&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adherence to SMS group sales process procedures, software tools and documentation requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordination of engineering work for proposal preparation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with the project estimator and supply chain department to prepare and edit cost estimates for proposed project.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Technical presentation of proposals to prospective customers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Technical presentation of SMS group technology to prospective customers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Contacts and coordination with main mechanical vendors for proposal purposes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inter-departmental or inter-company contacts concerning proposals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Developing and executing marketing strategy for USMCA region customers, including customer communications and visits</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identifying potential projects (new equipment and aftermarket), selecting appropriate technologies, and developing technical and commercial specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Customer support / liaison of the company&rsquo;s domestic references</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Approximately 15-20% travel required for customer and supplier visits or internal company meetings</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What you&#39;ll need</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: square;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BS in Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Computer aided design (CAD) competence</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum 5 years experience working with industrial steelmaking technology in melting processes. Steelmaking process engineering experience is required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Process design experience and competence is a plus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Candidates must be self-motivated and display creativity, strong problem-solving skills, and work well in a diverse, international team environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent computer skills, with a strong emphasis on SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
